Jeannette Chartouni, founder and owner of Interiors by Jeannette since 1975 has over 35 years experience in the interior design business. Her work has been featured in such magazines as Good Housekeeping and Better Homes and Gardens.  To complement Jeannette’s 6 years of interior design education at Fairfield University of Design, she brings international training as well.

Interiors by Jeannette offers a full line of interior design services with a strong emphasis on custom window treatments.  All work is handcrafted on premises, in their own workshop, personally supervised by Jeannette. Your work will never be outsourced to a commercial workshop.

Visit Interiors by Jeannette’s showroom to select from 100’s of in-stock fabrics, l000s of custom order catalogs or call to schedule an in-home consultation.  Personalized service is the expectation, not the exception, at Interiors by Jeannette.  In-home consultations consist of up to three one-on-one meetings.

The first is held in your home, where we can attain an understanding of your needs.  We study your floor plan and discuss color schemes and design preferences. The end goal of the initial consultation is to understand your tastes in colors, design, fabrics, costs, etc.

Once back m the showroom,, we work on creating a folder of your project.  This folder will contain photos taken in your home, fabric samples and pictures of various styles of hardware.  Once complete, this folder will be presented for you to review in our second consultation. It will be presented as a starting point with several options for your review. We will discuss everything being presented and answer any questions or concerns you may have.  If necessary the folder will be re-worked based upon our discussions. We will leave the folder with you so that you can share it with family and friends before making your decision

At your option, a third consultation can be scheduled and will typically be held in our showroom.  Here we will offer additional ideas, styles, fabrics and potential cost savings. We will work closely with you until we have made your vision a reality.
